Travel 101 from The Noob Traveller

It's so amazing how everyone have different interest in life.

One might loves flowers, cars, properties while the others might love stocks, golds and etc. Being me, travelling healed my soul and soothed my heart.

That’s how travel mean to me. H.U.G.E. The reason why I will never tolerate with people questioning me spending my money on this purpose.😡

I don’t fancy jewelries nor heels. I barely wear a watch and flats are my go to in my entire life so I don’t find travel as “waste of money”. If we’re in the same boat, I’m totally delightful to share info from my own experiences.

Can't reach that 30 countries before 30 target, but I believe rather than doing that Allah wants me to cherish every countries. Quality over quantity. Always. Quantity here meaning enough time to explore and discover not “touch n go” or the most suitable term here is “reach n stamp” (passport, geddit geddit).😁

I even vow to myself to travel at least once per every quarter (12 months in a year = 4 quarters). Well, this is the least I can do to promise myself (matches my pocket lol). However, just in case, I have extra money/budget I would go for more!

To cut things short, my first concern before I start to plan for travel is accommodation.

Yeap, I know, the priority might differ according to individual. If you find this info beneficial. I’m so glad to help but if not, feel free to skip this post. Hihihi. 😎

My helper for accommodation is AGODA. I’m not doing a paid review here, this is my personal preferences based on again my experiences. For all the countries I’ve been to, I used AGODA. It’s transparent, easy to deal with and legit site. 👌

So please, download, sign up and use AGODA.

Here are lists of reasons why I choose AGODA compare to other sites available:

1)    The range of accommodation starting from luxury, medium and backpack style. You may choose it based on your budget. Cool right? Indeed life is a choice.

2)    Neutral party: AGODA doing good by being neutral to user and owner. They will expose both good and bad reviews which truly helps when we want to make a decision.

3)    Payment method: I love the fact that they give you options for debit or credit card knowing that not everyone have CC. The best part, free cancelation until certain date closer to arrival. This option is the best, especially due to the uncertainty of these days. Screw you Cik Corona. Hence, you won’t have to spend a dime to a holiday that you aren’t able to go. Options. I love options.

4)    Effective customer careline: They have remarkable staff to handle any issue. They provide solutions and suggestions not just throwing you trouble.

5)    Best offer: So far, whenever I tried to compare on direct booking with hotels vs Agoda. AGODA is cheaper. #wisetraveller

6)    Points system: I love collecting points/cash back scheme. This is so cool and worthy. You can collect points for each booking. The highlight is smooth redemption is the key.

So yeah, the first priority for me is to check on accommodation. Good accommodation provide good security. Travelling while feeling safe is precious.

We’ll discuss on transportation/flight in the next post.

Till then, stay safe and stay strong.

Packing for travel is headache, I envy those who travel light. I don't have the courage.

p/s: just in case AGODA stumble upon this post, feel free to contact me. In case we can collaborate on things. Hahaha jk jk.😝
